RIDING REFLECTIONS
Train rocks me to sleep
So I may be with you again
And though it’s only a short time
It will be well spent with you my friend
Should we dance amongst the flames of the fires that we built
Could we laugh about old days before our cups were spilt
Miles separate us for a short time
But since I shut the door you’ve had my mind
I ponder my philosophies
With each letter I send
Through the thick and then thin
I guess it’s us I’m trying to mend
Every call’s a small request
To see if I would
Be able to join you
I can’t but wish I could
